Caught

Here’s an Illustration I was just playing about with before I decided to vector it up and have some fun with. It’s supposed to be a dude caught in the act of writing on a wall.
I’ve attached a few shots of how the concept developed from the initial sketch to a vector illustration with a textured effect. Let us know your thoughts!
So little time…
Via Joyengine, great illustration by Greg Abbot that is so fitting for me. Check out some of his terrific illustrations on flickr here.

Disney-Pixar’s Up
I’m back! Fresh from my trip to Disney World, back with some cool eye candy for you all. Pixar and Disney have teamed up to once again produce the goods with another superb animated movie, “Up”. I managed to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studio’s and sneak a peek (…well it’s open to everyone) at some of the behind the scenes development processes and character sketches.
It was a fascinating insight into the development and evolution of the characters including Carl Fredrickson, Russell and Dug. All sorts of experimentation with different colours and media such as pastels, colour pencils, water colour, pencil and pen drawings. The film’s pretty dam good too!
Have fun!
