Featured Artist: Skwak

I first became aware of the talents of the man who calls himself Skwak when I bought an incredibly colourful Nike tee last year. Skwak has now without doubt become one of the distinctive illustrators out there with his vibrant, colourful and charismatic masterpieces.
Hailing from Lille, in the North of France, you would be forgiven for thinking this man was from another planet. He has dubbed his little characters as “maniacs”, and they seem to filll whatever he sees fit as his canvas. At what first appears to be very much an intense chaotic visual, Skwak’s visions become very much a coherent masterpiece in which his maniacs tell a story.
Crazy or not, I say we hail this genius… I am a huge fan!
