My Radio Tee

Another doodle which became a little more developed once scanned in and taken into Illustrator. I had fun with this one, using the phrase “I can’t live without my Radio”, mimicking LL Cool J’s famous hit.

The radio or boombox is still considered such an iconic image of the early years of hip hop, with b-boys wearing their kangol hats, and hoodies, and Adidas pants carrying a boombox lofted on their shoulder.

The design was destined for print on a tshirt, but unfortunately I was too broke to get some printed! Who knows, if there’s enough demand or someone wants to fund it drop me an email using the form at the bottom of the page and we can talk about it!
