“NIKE78 is an exciting new project created by Paul Jenkins and inspired by NIKE. Creatives involved will receive a brand new pair of NIKE shoes and will be asked to use sport as inspiration to challenge their function. The project will be documented on this website and after the shoes have been collected, an exhibition showcase is planned for the London Design Festival 2010. This is a unique project featuring some of the most talented creative individuals, studios and other organisations.”
Fantastic submission by THIS IS Studio found via FormFiftyFive, choosing to knit a pair of beauties rather than decorate a real pair. Get in the minds of the studio here in the interview with FFF.

Always worth a visit on the legendary advertising agency that is Wieden + Kennedy to see what’s fresh and new. Stumbled across some pretty cool animations from their Tokyo branch which was worth a share…

Strike it rich with Oil Slick Dunny from Skwak. The eye-popping, super limited 8-inch figure spills into Kidrobot London on Thursday, February 18.
Skwak is an illustrator hailing from the north of France. His unique graphic universe, Maniac World, revisits children’s fairy tales and common myths. The adventures his Maniac characters embark upon are inspired from our daily lives but exaggerated to the point of absurdity, expressing the idea of “too much” through power, wealth, and celebrity.
There is nothing better then when you come across a collective which just takes inspiration to a new level. The Peepshow Collective have been around since 2000 by graduates of the Univerity of Brighton.
Peepshow is Luke Best, Jenny Bowers, Miles Donovan, Chrissie Macdonald, Pete Mellor, Marie O’Connor, Andrew Rae, Elliot Thoburn, Lucy Vigrass and the brilliant Spencer Wilson.
So finally Jacob and Biscuit’s book is out for you all to grab a hold of. I had the privilege of providing the artwork for my good friend hoping that of course I did the book justice!
“A site dedicated to all things creative, fun, fashionable and funky.” A great source of inspiration, and just for all things cool. Certainly one to bookmark!
